Black Visions 2019

March 2, 2019 was an epic evening of celebrating art, black heritage and unity as Sentinel Mentors kicked off its first annual Black Visions Art Exhibition. The exhibition is an opportunity to exhibit visual art created by black artists from around the United States. The theme of the exhibit is “Celebrating UMOJA!”.

The stellar evening brought together art lovers from all walks of life to take in amazing artwork, live musical performance by the Kevin Wayne Brown Jazz Quartet, catered hors devours and delectable desserts. Sentinel Mentors CEO and founder, Scott Terry stated, “tonight was an evening of community, many people from all walks life coming together for one purpose, to celebrate the rich heritage of black culture through the visual arts. It was beautiful”

Although the reception is over, you can still view the exhibition during the month of March. The show continues on March 9, 12PM - 5PM at 3433 Douglas Ave. Racine, WI.
